Global Glamour

This Melbourne home is like a gallery of global goodness.

Bright white spaces provide the perfect backdrop for the owners' gorgeous collection of items found on their travels all over the world. Pieces range from a carved door made in Rajasthan, India to prayer beads from Sicily to Tanzanian artwork. As eclectic as the collection may be, everything is serenely pulled together, creating a beautiful and relaxing place to come home to.

My favourite space in this home is the dining area, with its enormous white mirror and lovely white lantern, evoking the illusion of a larger space, like a portal into another room. The black, white, and grey colour scheme of the home's decor, along with dark wood flooring and furniture, is simply stunning, and some lovely green growing things bring the outside in. Let's not forget the pool. I could really go for a dip in that cool blue water right now!

Super chic home. In the fog of winter here in California that pool looks diving!!
Beautiful blog. Happy to have found it today!

I love the contrast of the white and the old dark wood.
